The IKS Business & Sales Operations (BSO) group is the business center of excellence for marketing and sales execution performance, planning, and implementation. The BSO group executes on company sales strategy and priorities that enable us to achieve our business sales and growth goals.
The National Sales & Marketing Director role is an executive position that oversees BSO team operations. The National Sales & Marketing Director will lead a team of sales professionals responsible for excellence in sales operations through orchestrating and improving key processes, sales compensation plans, marketing campaigns, and sales goals. Driving alignment with our internal teams such as engineering, project management, and customer support, the National Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for ensuring rapid feedback loops from our customers, the market performance, and sales initiatives to ensure IKS is providing the best possible solutions relevant to today’s security technology needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading and coaching people in a high impact, fast paced environment. The National Sales & Marketing Director will be a strong people leader who is solution oriented, enjoys problem solving and developing strong partnerships across Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and other incentive-based compensation teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (The How)

As National Sales & Marketing Director, you will be responsible for IK Systems’ Business and Sales Operations Team with a focus on aggressive business growth through:
Supporting Sales Discipline and Pipeline
Leads sales team and partners with owner, executive leadership, and department directors to drive success. Manages the Business and Sales Operations Team against sales plans and refines courses of action to influence sales teams.
Manages the use of internal knowledge of sales support team to augment insights and drive return of capital across the company. Reviews improvement recommendations of customers to empower success and provide insights related to sales operations improvements, internal time savings, and performance blockers across the business. Leverages knowledge about and directly influences the resources that support tracking and monitoring, as well as performance pipelines, scorecards, and sales plays.
Identifies growth opportunities that maximize impact on corporate customers, creating sales strategies and goals that ensure the company meets or exceeds annual plan.
Leads execution excellence for sales operations fundamentals and innovation in the sales operations function across all vertical markets. Leverages qualitive and quantitative methods across territory management, employee assignment, revenue excellence, quota management, awards management, sales incentives and or path to drive sales operations fundamentals across the BSO Group.
Collaborates with and manages relevant stakeholders and team members (Finance, Human Resources, Engineering, Project Management, Customer Support) to align, refine, and improve sales operations planning and execution.
Communicates risk and growth opportunities throughout the planning process and provides detailed recommendations for improvement to senior level stakeholders.
Contributes to best practices of sales and marketing operations planning and guides other in their adherence.
Manages complex vendor and manufacturer relationships as it relates to the sales team. Leads vendor partnership sales strategies and negotiates/manages vendor discount, registration, and partnership programs.
Leads the standardization of processes and tools across the company to enhance sales productivity. Encourages others and drives continuous improvement programs within reporting, business intelligence and sales operations fundamentals by providing feedback and developing team capabilities.
Acts as subject matter expert on sales business operations and marketing campaigns. Provides monthly forecasting, pipeline management, and oversees revenue audits.

Qualifications (How Your History Leads to Our Mutual Success)
10+ years’ experience leading high performing sales teams and growing talent
Business management, project management, service management, customer relations
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, finance, sales, accounting, or information sciences
Previous experience with a security systems integrator, intrusion company, fire company, etc is required
