The Department of Marketing at Rutgers Business School—Newark and New Brunswick invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor rank to start in September 2023. Our faculty members are expected to engage in a high-quality research program, perform excellent teaching at all levels, supervise doctoral students, and engage in service activities. Applicants will be expected to teach courses in marketing at the undergraduate and graduate levels. They should also have strong evidence of high-quality scholarly research.
We are seeking applicants whose research interests are in digital and social media tools applied to managerially relevant marketing problems. The substantive area is open to all analytical, empirical, behavioral, or managerial approaches. Specific areas of application include but are not limited to advertising, branding, sales, retailing, product innovation, and marketing metrics. Applicants should either have completed their Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field or expect to complete it prior to joining Rutgers on September 1, 2023. .
