The Outreach and Marketing Coordinator works with the Library Leadership Team to create, develop, and execute a comprehensive communications strategy encompassing written, visual, digital, and electronic communications. The Coordinator serves the UCSF community and the public to promote equity and inclusion, and to ensure wide dissemination, high engagement, and maximum impact of UCSF Library services, events, and collections.

The Coordinator fosters and ensures a single Library voice across all platforms and implements a content roadmap aligned to the Library's communication strategy. In collaboration with the Library UX team, the Coordinator develops and updates the Library website, digital newsletters, customer relation management, and social media channels. The Coordinator supports subject matter experts from the Library and partner organizations by reviewing, editing, writing, and deploying effective communications content. The Coordinator supports communications for events and activities such as online and in-person classes, workshops, and guest speakers. In collaboration with Library Facilities and other partners, the Coordinator leverages marketing opportunities in Library and university physical spaces. The Coordinator works with the Library Leadership Team and University Development and Alumni Relations on communication for fundraising activities. The Coordinator uses data-driven assessment and evaluation for the continuous improvement of Library communications.

The Coordinator connects and collaborates with campus and community partners such as colleagues in the UCSF internal communications team and the broader Communicators Network. Under the guidance of the UCSF Office of Communications (OOC), the Coordinator ensures that communications are aligned with UCSF and Library branding and communication standards and best practices. The Coordinator partners with the OOC to share news and information that can be distributed via UCSF-wide channels. The Coordinator must be able to regularly exercise sound judgment, critical thinking, and high-level diplomacy skills. This position is eligible for telework and flexible schedules, with some onsite work necessary at various locations in the Bay Area.

*Salary range for role is $80,000 - $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.*
