The Project Coordinator, Corporate Marketing is responsible for the trafficking and project coordination of items relating to the support of Macerich sales teams and company/corporate projects. The Corporate Marketing team operates as an in-house advertising agency which produces a myriad of projects, events, sales and executive materials for many stakeholders in the Company. This role provides critical support for the corporate marketing B2B team in the development of sales materials and coordination of relationship building events as well as a variety of additional projects. Key to the position is handling many tasks with attention to detail.
Essential Job Functions:
- Coordinates and traffics internal assets for project work such as photography, historical work, creative assets, charts, graphs, etc. to project managers with adherence to brand guidelines with a design/creative eye
- Assists in collecting and coordinating asset creation with agencies, freelancers and in-house designers as well as produces designed assets when possible; sources images from internal libraries and image services
- Utilizes research tools when necessary to search for key data points
- Ensures high data and design quality, providing quality assurance with thorough proofing for all work product
- Creates PowerPoint presentations, bringing together research, the sales pitch, and stakeholder information to support the sales story; creates PowerPoint for internal presentations for executive needs.
- Assists with handling details for leasing event planning such as Phoenix Open, Broker happy hours, internal department meetings, and other sales related events throughout the year.
- Collaborates closely with other project managers as well as corporate communications and other marketing team members.

- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-4 years marketing and/or agency experience or equivalent required
- Design/creative eye important
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Copywriting/editing skills a must
- Strong relationship building skills
- Strong project management skills
- Proven capabilities in managing many projects at one time
- Highly organized
- PowerPoint skills required
- Basic Photoshop editing skills (resizing and cropping of images) a plus
- Canva skills a plus
- Minimal travel may be required (5%)
