Maintainkeycustomer andopinionleader contact to maximize Abbott EPD productperformance in the respectivetherapeutic fields and support currentandfutureobjectives
To maintain andimproveproductknowledgeof the salesforceand sales managers and to continuallyupdateknowledgeontheproduct,competitorsandtherapeutic area
Toachieve targets forsales, grow marketshare,profitcontributionandmarketpenetrationfor all assignedproduct(s)(i.e.entire portfolioPLN)
Ensurepricingforproductswithin your area of responsibilityreceive the priorauthorizationof the Abbott EPD AfricaManagementbeforebeingextended to thecustomers
Manage the new productintroduction(NPI)process and ensureuploadingofrelevantBCFs after obtainingapproval from MarketingManager/General Manager
Planningandimplementation of productlaunches,includingHCPeducation,promotions,stocking,functions, road shows
Tocreate,togetherwithDemandPlanning & Logistics, and be jointlyresponsiblefor accuratemonthlyrollingforecasts(SP&E + Mix - 28 monthforecast)
Responsibleforoverseeingmarketsurveys/researchandsalestrendsreviewswhileeffectivelyutilizingavailablemarketintelligencetools(IMS,Impact RX, InternalAbbottSalesreportsetc.) to identifycustomerbuyingpatterns,salesperformanceandmarket dynamics
Manage thirdpartyrelationswithrelevantcompanies where Abbottproducts have been out- licensed / third party products have been in-licensed as per specificcontractual obligations

Tertiary qualification in HealthSciences/BusinessSciencesorequivalent.Additionally,Marketingqualification / IMM / Commercialqualificationortraining is anadvantage.
