What You'll Do
We are recruiting for a Commercial Compliance and Marketing Specialist to support U.S. Commercial marketing operations in the areas of compliance, branding, and project management. This position is an office-based role, and will be located at our headquarters in Alameda, CA
Main Responsibilities:
Learn and master Abbott branding rules and requirements
Serve as subject matter expert for the U.S. Commercial teams to help create and finetune promotional materials
Be the brand ambassador to promo branding best practices and principles
Design and lead training classes to educate marketers on branding rules and requirements
Simple desktop publishing such as fixing typos and minor graphic design tasks
Manage deadlines and timelines proactively to ensure approval deadlines are met
Resolve issues as they arise and implement lesson learned
Prepare and present project progress reports to keep management and team informed. Identify problems and work to resolve them
Establish partnership across Global Strategic Marketing and U.S Commercial to enable optimal commercial compliance adherence
As needed, work with outside vendors and consultant to execute projects
Follow all Abbot Legal, Quality and Regulatory policies
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Required
Bachelors Degree plus 4 years of experience
General graphic design and desktop publishing principles
Quick learning abilities
Extreme attention to details
Ability to work cross functionally and in an environment with changing priorities
Sound business and technical acumen, especially in learning new software and platforms
Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Preferred:
Previous experience within healthcare and/or biotech industries preferred
Prefer experience in sales operations, marketing operations, and compliance operations
Excellent software skills such as Microsoft Suite, Veeva, Sharepoint, OneDrive
