 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, along with two to three years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related function.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; experience with social media on behalf of an organization/brand/institution preferred; Experience with Canva and/or video editing software are a plus.
• The following are not requirements but will strengthen an application:
  1. General knowledge of the health care sector.
  2. Specific knowledge of hospice and/or palliative care.
  3. Experience in membership and/or non-profit organizations.

This position is classified as a full-time, non-exempt hourly position with a starting base salary at $31.87 to $47.80/hour (commensurate with related experience) plus an opportunity to earn annual merit increases and potential, but not guaranteed, performance bonuses.  NHPCO offers an excellent total compensation package, which includes medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, short- and long-term disability plans, retirement, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation/sick leave, twelve paid holidays, twelve weeks paid parental leave, wellness programs, and more!
