An adaptable, inventive and meticulous individual who is keen to develop their career in a vibrant and busy Marketing Team. We're looking for someone with experience in Asset Management Marketing and ideally someone who has worked or is working within the Investment Trust sector. We'd like to talk to people who are experienced in their field, confident of their abilities and who would like to be responsible for their own Marketing Channel.
Marketing Investment Trusts effectively requires us to activate both professional and consumer audiences and we are especially keen to develop our direct to consumer offering. We need someone who can assist us in placing our Investment Trust range at the forefront of interested consumers' minds and who has the knowledge and experience to build out the planning and execution to extend our reach in this important market segment.

The team and our work
The UK Marketing Team serves Institutional, Intermediary and Individual investors. It partners closely with the local Sales teams to build client engagement and raise assets. We operate across the entire Marketing mix and are part of the Global Marketing Function where central areas of expertise (Digital, Events, Brand, Social, Proposition etc) work with us to deploy strategic and tactical client centric activity and campaigns.
We want to work more effectively to leverage our wider expertise locally within our Investment Trust channel to improve our client offering, our Marketing efficiency, results, reporting and to place our Investment Trust range more squarely in front of a targeted audience.
What you'll do
You'll be expected to plan, support and co-ordinate across several key areas. These include:
??? Work closely with colleagues in the UK Investment Trust Business to understand their priorities on-going and partner with them to support their activity and meet their goals ??? Build, own and evolve the Investment Trust Marketing Plan to reflect our ambition across both professional and consumer audiences ??? Work with colleagues in the UK business and Central Marketing teams to develop and deploy integrated campaigns across the UK's Investment Trust Channel ??? Act as a key contributor and enabler of Schroders' Investment Trust Strategy to increase investor interest in our offering ??? Set goals and targets across marketing channels, in-line with the Investment Trust Business's objectives ??? Develop the relationship between the UK and Central Marketing teams as well as the Investment Trust Business, ensuring good collaboration and clear communication ??? Manage a small team in a strategically important channel to deliver against agreed goals and motivate the individuals concerned to continuously evolve and enhance our Marketing offering
??? Work alongside colleagues, agencies, advertising, digital and content teams etc to plan and launch campaigns to clients and prospects within the Investment Trust channel ??? Optimise Marketing activity in-line with agreed objectives and KPIs ??? Day to day management of one direct report as well as matrix reports ??? Embed the use of analytics to improve the discoverability and consumption of content by Schroders' investors and prospects ??? Utilise Marketing technology, best practice techniques and data-led insight to continuously improve all relevant KPIs. ??? Monitor and optimise the client journey across multiple touchpoints based-on business insight and actionable analytics ??? Consolidate UK requirements and liaise with Central Marketing and development teams to progress key projects, manage risk and launch new initiates
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
??? Broad experience of working across integrated Marketing channels in an asset manager ??? Development, deployment and evolution of Channel Marketing plans ??? Demonstrable experience of developing and deploying integrated Marketing campaigns ??? Proven experience working with Digital Marketing channels and technology ??? Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that utilise multiple marketing channels to engage, inform, and motivate ??? Clear communication and stakeholder management skills ??? An Excellent attention to detail, problem-solver and creative thinker ??? Able to develop budgets, familiar with financial planning and strategy ??? A team player with a "team first" attitude and a collaborative working style
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
??? Experience of marketing Investment Trusts ??? B2C industry experience, particularly within financial services and/or asset management ??? Experience in optimising user journeys and lead conversion funnels ??? Use of Salesforce CRM and Pardot Marketing Automations platforms ??? Working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to build client strategies ??? Experience working with data and using analytics tools for reporting
