The Marketing Automation Specialist is a full-time, exempt, remote position reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Strategic Marketing for the College of Adult and Graduate Studies (CAGS)/CCU Online. The Marketing Automation Specialist supports the CAGS Enrollment organization by performing a variety of ideation, execution, and measurement functions to support overall communications and recruitment efforts.

We’re looking for candidates who have:
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of marketing experience.
Effective written and verbal communication skills with exceptional innovation and creativity skills.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, experience using Pardot, and fundamental knowledge of HTML/CSS
Demonstrated project management and collaboration skills with self-starting and results-driven attitude.
Detail oriented mindset with an ability to work effectively on multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member and as an individual contributor.
A professional demeanor and good judgement with a high degree of spiritual maturity to handle confidential information discreetly.

Pardot & Salesforce
Create and execute strategic and personalized email communication workflows for lead nurturing with Pardot and Salesforce.
Utilize reporting and data sets to optimize targeting, strategy, and efficiency.
Update, maintain, and add to catalog of lead nurturing email templates.
Forecast engagement strategies based on performance and industry insights.
Optimize email templates for mobile and desktop/browser and email clients.
Monitor integration between Salesforce and Pardot.
Maintain a clean database.
Create compelling and visually appealing HTML emails.
Monitor and maintain brand integrity across all digital channels.
Compose grammatically correct, conversational emails that comply with the CCU Writing Style Guide.
Increase funnel activity with creative and compelling email copy and creative.
Monitor daily email communication and document improvement opportunities.
Facilitate, discern, and prioritize requests from the enrollment and strategic partnerships team.
Set and meet quarterly engagement goals.
Maintain a data-driven approach to meet and exceed aggressive goals.
Troubleshoot technical issues.
Streamline workflows and create efficiency.
Work collaboratively with other marketing team members.
Perform data analysis and reconciliation, producing operational reports from internal and external databases.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to contribute to the growth and success of the University.
While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to walk, stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, speak with clarity, and have appropriate vision and hearing capabilities. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. You may be required to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends.

Colorado Christian University’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity; along with budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. Salary will be assigned based on relevant experience at a range of $50,000 - $55,000 per year. We reserve the right to pay an equitable rate that we believe is within our salary structure or that may fit a candidate’s qualifications or experience for the job.
