What you will do:
Drive integration, consolidation, customization and personalization of Field Marketing technology and tools in support of an improved Field Experience.
Customization Lead : Work with Assistant Director of Field Marketing Technologies to define and prioritize a strategic field Martech customization plan, in alignment with needs, opportunities and gaps.
Digital Platform Strategy: Develop business strategies for field-facing digital platforms that support advisor practice growth while simultaneously meeting consumer needs, following industry trends, and aligning with internal stakeholder roadmaps.
Program Leadership: Independently lead large-scale concurrent programs including sophisticated multidimensional marketing projects and data strategies, completing components such as defining business requirements, project scope, success criteria, risks, design/development, communication, and implementation plans.
Cross-Functional Team Alignment : Work cross-functionally to unite and ensure analytical alignment with leaders across Marketing, Digital Product, Marketing Engineering, Compliance, and Data to prioritize, complete and deliver key initiatives. Includes joint project plans & roadmaps to address platform integrations, enhancements, and general support.
Vendor/Relationship Management : Oversee and guide relationships with third-party vendors, contractors, and/or freelancers to ensure maximum Martech platform efficiency and innovation.
Program Assessment & Growth : Proactively extend and enhance Field Marketing's technology stack to become best-in-class in driving improved efficiency, conversion and scale. Includes business partner collaborations to evaluate new and optimize existing programs for improved field/consumer experience based on key business measures.
Process Management/Improvement : Own or contribute to the development and implementation of formal processes, guidelines, and methodologies for running and optimizing field-facing digital platforms to improve the Field's ease of engaging with Marketing.
Consumer/Field Research : consistently display professional courage to research, analyze and interpret data to address challenges and drive improved business outcomes. Partner with research team(s) and field organizations to implement quantitative/qualitative studies used to identify field/consumer needs & struggles, determine root cause, and develop solutions.
Brand Management : Partner with Brand and Creative teams to ensure products/content offered on digital platforms consistently represent corporate brand guidelines while delivering the intended prospect/client experience.
Subject Matter Expertise : Maintain industry knowledge on trends, standard methodologies, and new technologies to tackle problems and improve the field experience. Serves as subject matter authority in marketing campaign operations and approach to the execution of marketing campaigns across all audiences and channels.
Bring Your Best! What this role needs:
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in marketing/communications, business or related field.
REQUIRED: 10+ years of shown experience in Marketing Strategy, Operations & Marketing Technology including digital, offline and analytics. Corporate, agency or financial services industry preferred.
Leadership experience in B2B2C campaign execution and operations, integrated marketing and demand generation.
Experience leading projects for large scale automation platforms and/or digital communication tools with global partners.
Track record of successfully scaling marketing technologies.
Experience with CRM, segmentation, and personalization.
High knowledge and comfort level working with marketing automation/digital technology tools (Salesforce, Hearsay, segmentation, personalization, other TBD).
Relationship Management : Ability to negotiate, influence, build credibility and strong partnerships in a matrixed organization across business functions and levels.
Critical Thinking/Analytical: Proven skills in problem-solving, listening, strategic planning and thought leadership. Results-driven focus with ability to use data intelligence to influence decisions and refine strategies.
Organization Skills: a proactive self-starter with demonstrated superior ability to run multiple sophisticated projects and deadlines in fast-paced, team and independent environments.
Adaptability : Thrives in environment of ambiguity, innovation and ongoing change with constant ability to prioritize based on outcomes; a "roll up your sleeves" mentality.
Interpersonal Skills: exceptional attention to detail, highly methodical teammate who is able to cultivate collaboration to drive strategies, plans, results and outcomes.
Business Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal collaboration and development of consumer/client communications.
Customer-Focus Mentality: able to generate strong excitement with new and unique project ideas and programs that identify/solve client problems, keeping the client as center focus.
Vendor/Creative Management: Proven track record to optimally empower and guide creative teams to plan, conceive, develop and implement marketing communications initiatives.
Knowledge and experience in financial services industry is preferred.
