We are looking for a results-oriented and highly motivated marketer to join our Product Marketing team. In this role, you will collaborate with global stakeholders to develop and execute high-quality, highly effective investment content and marketing programs that support a broad range of products and services. This position will be located in Newport Beach, CA, and will be part of the Global Marketing function.
Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for creating, executing, and optimizing scalable marketing strategies and tactics that raise awareness and consideration for PIMCO's investment solutions globally. Responsibilities may include:
Provide day-to-day execution and project management for priority product marketing activities supporting various investment solutions and vehicles.
Collaborate with global colleagues across channels, including product management, client management, compliance, technology, and across our marketing teams (brand, creative, digital, channel, financial writers)
Design and implement promotional plans for marketing materials, including sales collateral, webcasts, videos, thought leadership papers, and related content
Manage the development and production of product marketing materials across a fully integrated communications platform
Collect and analyze metrics and KPIs for marketing-related activities, prepare reports for stakeholders, and make recommendations based on findings
Coordinate closely with global colleagues to ensure consistency of messaging and identify opportunities for global efficiencies
Keep abreast of industry and competitor best practices and make recommendations
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business/Finance, Economics or Marketing/Communications
A strong background and/or interest in financial markets and economics is essential, with a desire to learn about PIMCO products
Minimum 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in content creation, digital marketing, and managing integrated marketing campaigns
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage many ongoing initiatives
Demonstrated ability to deliver on assigned responsibilities through a commitment to quality and timelines, attention to detail, and the use of strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate
Ability to analyze data to identify takeaways and opportunities for optimization and present these findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities as business needs require
Inquisitive self-starter who thinks strategically about addressing the needs of multiple stakeholders to gain agreement and deliver results
Confident and skilled communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as the Adobe platform
Familiarity with basic technology applications and content management systems (including Box, Smartsheets, and Google Analytics) preferred
MBA degree, CFA designation, or progress toward either / both desirable
