Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Marketing Coordinator for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:
The Marketing Coordinator will support the efforts of Kellogg IMC on admissions projects and events, including project support, research, collaboration, and communication. Reporting to the Degree Programs Marketing team, this position is part of a team that is responsible for creating content and event to engage prospective students. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and/or social media.
Support Strategic Planning and Execution
Contribute to marketing and communication for events and programs, with a focus on attracting prospective students and meeting admissions goals.
Design and develop presentation materials from concept to completion.
Gather and organize competitive research, especially in other schools’ recruiting efforts.
Compile performance metrics and insights from project and event efforts.
Organize project planning, coordinate status meetings, and communicate the progress of interdisciplinary projects.
Work closely with cross-functional team members to help manage and optimize planning process and milestones.
Serve as liaison between marketing, senior leadership, creative, and communications teams in the execution of marketing plans.
Attend meetings with cross-functional teams and provide detailed recaps.
A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or similar
2-4 years of experience in marketing
Superior organizational skills and strong multi-tasking abilities
Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Experience using project management software such as SmartSheet
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
