Associate Athletics Director for Marketing and Ticketing

The Associate Athletics Director for Marketing and Ticketing will be responsible for developing and supervising all aspects of athletic ticketing, and marketing.
Responsibilities of the position include: - Lead athletic marketing and ticketing staff to implement comprehensive sales and promotional strategies for designated athletic teams and events. - In coordination with senior athletics administrators, develop ticket sales pricing strategy for all ticketed sports. - Develop and maintain comprehensive annual ticketing and marketing calendars. - Maintain and optimize Paciolan ticketing system and CRM database. Streamline sales data reporting. Develop high-level sales reports used to inform senior administrators, and external athletics units. - Continuation of grassroots marketing efforts, in addition to developing a digital media advertising and promotional strategy in order to maximize the return on investment, creating culture of making data-driven decisions. - Develop strategies for reseating, parking, processing, and implementing season ticket delivery. - Develop and maintain relationships with season ticket holders, donors, and vendors. - Supervise Ticket Office and Marketing Staff including Non-Student & Student Temporary positions to ensure that customer service standards are achieved. - Assist with updating the ticketing and marketing websites with the most current information and market trends. - Assist in building events in Paciolan ticketing system. - Provide superior level of customer service to ensure a positive experience for all patrons in order to promote App State Athletics. - Perform related duties and responsibilities as required by supervisor and Director of Athletics. - Compliance with all University and Department policies and procedures as well as the Sun Belt Conference and NCAA constitutions, bylaws, legislation and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in sports management, business administration, or a related field. Degrees in other fields will be considered if candidate has relevant experience.
Minimum of 5 years of progressively increasing responsibility in a college athletics department or sports organization.
Customer service and management experience.
Must be available to cover athletics event schedules, which may include managing ticketing and marketing game day staff, working nights and weekends, and traveling to department events as necessary.
