Under minimal supervision, of Global Marketing Communications Manager is within our Cardiometabolic business unit. This role is responsible for Support of Global Product and Marketing Managers and Regional Marketing Managers in developing marketing strategies and executing tactical activities to meet the organization's marketing communications objectives.
This role, will have direct responsibility for driving the development, managing and facilitating the generation of all marketing communications globally. This role is responsible for the overall cardiometabolic BU communications including global website content, all global marketing collateral, coordination of our medical education platform and digital campaign development. Additionally, this role will coordinate with regional marcom managers in EMEA and APAC and carry direct responsibility for regional marketing communications in the US and LAC.
Effectively coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns and activities in partnership with ARDX Integrated Marketing Team, Global Product Managers, Regional Marketing, Sales Managers, country stakeholders, regulatory, legal, and external vendors.
Guide marketing internal and external communications projects from concept to completion, overseeing all aspects including requirements gathering, scope definition, creative brief, design, budget, approval, and change control.
Contributes to and supports Product and Marketing Mangers and regional marketing in the development and execution of annual marketing and product launch plans, and in the development of marketing communications that effectively communicates product value propositions.
Ensure Ad/Promo compliance and brand adherence in managing the cross-functional review, approval, release and control of all global, US and LAC cardiometabolic marketing collateral within the document control system. Provide education and supervise adherence of regional and global marketing to Ad/Promo compliance.
Coordinate the development of the calendar of events and content for non-promotional medical education platform including site promotion, management of the budget and timelines.
Collaborate with marketing colleagues, ARDX global events team and other Abbott divisions acting as point person for all global, US and LAC medical congress exhibits (in-person and virtual). Manage budget, timelines and content creation.
Accommodates flexible and non-standard work schedule, work setting and travel to permit for collaboration with global work teams
Carry out duties in compliance with established business policies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
4-year College or university degree preferably in marketing.
5- 7 years global marketing communications experience preferably in the diagnostics or healthcare industry
Track record of success in marketing campaign development and execution (including digital)
Proven self-starter who works with minimal guidance exhibiting initiative, organization, and a mindset to continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams from idea to execution
Clear strength in written, and verbal communication skills with proven ability to work successfully across global cultures
