Who you are
As the Marketing Director - Silicon Valley, you will be responsible of leading the marketing team’s efforts in the following key marketing areas: pitches and presentations, property marketing, and communications and positioning. You are a strong leader, confident communicator and strategic thinker with a keen eye for details in order to work collaboratively with a variety of personalities under multiple competing deadlines. In addition, you possess exceptional writing, project management, organizational and technical skills to execute marketing plans and designs.
What success looks like
This role is part of the Silicon Valley leadership team, committed to driving business development and property marketing deliverables for our brokerage operations. Leading a team of creatives this role is responsible for content strategy, creative direction, project management and supporting our market leading brokers deliver best in class marketing collateral for their clients. An experienced marketing and communications professional in the real estate industry will be successful in this role, bringing together their background in best in class property marketing campaign development and leadership to support our brokerage professionals win new business and service high end property marketing requirements. A client facing role, the Marketing Director will stand alongside our brokers in pitches, clearly articulating marketing strategy, tools and techniques to expedite conversion and create distinction in the market. Not afraid to roll-up-sleeves to get a job done, this role will require a background in creative work and a willingness to learn and adapt to new creative technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a marketing role – prior experience in the commercial real estate industry preferable.
Experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
Proficient Microsoft applications experience (Excel, Word).
Brand management experience.
Some fluency in, or ability to quickly learn, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
Capacity to write and generate content with strong editing and proofreading skills with an emphasis on business writing and an ability to articulate client value.
Ability to shift priorities and deliver projects on a timely basis, well organized, excellent time management skills and ability to interface with top level executives.
A strong work ethic, the strength to thrive in a dynamic and demanding work environment, and an ability to meet critical deadlines.
