What you will do:
The Marketing Associate is responsible for sales support initiatives, including the development of new marketing materials, maintenance of existing materials and the overall enhancement of HCS marketing communications. This individual will need to understand and drive the Healthcare Systems brand as well as develop creative marketing templates, ensuring consistency in materials.
Understand key competitors and their relative strengths/weaknesses
Understand customer groups, including why customers buy the product or service
Identify critical customer needs and preferences
Provides customer feedback to marketing leadership
Aid in the construction of the marketing plan
Understand basic budget management principles
Understand general marketing principles such as segmentation, targeting, and positioning
Is the subject matter expert for applicable products/product lines and able to field technical questions
Support sales training initiatives and programs throughout the year
Understand and supports setting price and maintaining product or portfolio margin
Aware of commonly used internal/external communication goals, tools and formats
Use appropriate scorecards to track results
Track existing KPIs and reports back to the organization
Provide sales support to field teams
Develop sales support materials
Support contract launch process
Help execute internal meetings
May present in person or via WebEx to support sales teams
Understand Stryker brand guidelines
Maintain a high degree of self-motivation, generates fresh ideas and fosters positive team interaction
What you need:
B.B.A. or B.S. in any field (emphasis in marketing or a related discipline preferred)
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated effective organizational skills.
1+ years in a marketing, sales or related position.
