Boston University's Marketing & Communications division is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, flexible Sr. Staff Assistant who will be the primary administrative coordinator for the Assistant Vice President of External Affairs and Marketing & Communications senior management staff.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Hiring, training, and supervising student employees to assist with office tasks and monitor front desk activities.
Managing conference room set-ups for large meetings and maintain conference room calendars for scheduling.
Ensuring that equipment and media are functioning properly and maintained.
Assisting with planning and organizing large-scale unit-wide meetings and events.
Managing building operations and maintenance.
Associate's Degree with one to three years of related experience required.
Strong communication and organizational skills, time management, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Ability to work with a diverse population.
Must be able to anticipate office needs and set priorities in consultation with the Assistant Vice President.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
