The Manager, Marketing & Communications coordinates and develops marketing materials and campaigns to support the promotion and outreach of The Beryl Institute and affiliated brands. Projects will focus on promotion and communication initiatives to enhance brand awareness, membership growth and retention, event participation and learning programs.
Vice President, Marketing & Communications
Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas (Virtual position – will work remotely with periodic in-person meetings)
Responsibilities include the following, with other duties that may be assigned as the role develops.
Develop & implement go-to-market and communications strategies including digital, direct marketing, social media, public relations, event presence and content marketing
Manage communications calendar and project/design trafficking to meet established deadlines
Build email campaigns and track marketing metrics and website/email engagement
Manage social media accounts by building content calendar and monitoring social campaigns
Implement website design and updates to ensure information is current and easily accessible
Oversee and manage fulfillment process for e-store
Work closely with staff leads to support creation of marketing materials and program needs for each area
General copy editing, proofreading and tracking of newsletters, website content, membership communications, promotional materials, press releases, white papers/research reports and other content
Bachelor’s Degree required, Marketing or Public Relations focus preferred with at least three years marketing experience
Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs, some HTML preferred
Active engagement and knowledge of social media platforms
Healthcare industry and email marketing knowledge a plus
Team player with an understanding and focus on the delivery of unparalleled service
Strong organization and time management skills
