Drake University's College of Business and Public Administration invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor position in the Marketing department to teach Principles of Marketing. This course introduces students to the essentials of marketing and managerial concepts with a focus on creating value for customers and organizations. Particular attention is given to the strategic marketing process, factors and players in the marketing environment, marketing information systems, consumer behavior, segmentation and targeting, and each of the elements of the marketing mix. This part time position involves teaching one section of this undergraduate course as an evening course on Tuesday nights, fall semester, 2021.
Successful candidates should have earned a graduate degree in business or a closely related field and must have professional experience in marketing or a related field. Evidence of demonstrated effectiveness in teaching at the university level is highly desired.
