The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy has an immediate opening for a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will assist with designing and implementing a digital recruitment and marketing strategy for Price degree programs, with an initial primary focus on the Master of Public Administration-Online and Executive Master of Urban Planning-Online programs. We're looking for applicants who are well versed in digital advertising. The candidate will coordinate with external partners and internal stakeholders to assist with creating, implementing, and managing digital marketing strategies that meet enrollment or campaign targets. Over time the position will also supervise direct reports. The ideal candidate must be collaborative and demonstrate the ability to work independently and as a team member, have strong presentation and organizational skills, understand KPIs and reporting metrics, attention to detail, and an appreciation for the unique features of online education from a major private research university. This position works under the supervision of the Director of the Price School Office of Online Education and Digital Media (OEDM).Â
Objectives of this Role
Coordinate with external recruitment and marketing partners. Repurpose external collateral and strategies for internally created campaigns and digital advertising for on-campus programs, working closely with the Office of Student Affairs and the Price School Director of Recruitment and Admission.
Assist in developing marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
Collaboratively lead the execution of internally sponsored marketing campaigns from start to finish, working with internal and external teams.
Analyze insights, consumer trends, KPIs, ROI, conversion metrics, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
Create, maintain, and conduct analytic reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics.
Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets.

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Assist with developing SEO guidelines based on analytics, search results, and value propositions. Ensure all campaigns are optimized accordingly.
Experience developing and managing digital marketing plans and campaigns that incorporates social media (paid and organic).
Understanding of Google Ads, affiliate advertising, and social media advertising, including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
Metrics-driven marketing with an eye for creativity.
Embrace and research new media technologies to enhance and streamline processes and increase marketing reach.
Experience with audience targeting and channel segmentation is a bonus.
