We are based in Gilbert, AZ and have an opportunity for an exceptional Marketing Director, preferably experienced in the off-road or automotive aftermarket industry. The Marketing Director is responsible for developing strategic marketing plans based on Rigid’s goals that will promote growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. He or she will direct RIGID Industries’ advertising, events, marketing policies and programs, promotions and sponsorships, staff, and budgets. Essential Functions & Responsibilities • Develop strategic marketing plans grounded in solid analytics, to support Rigid’s objectives. • Manage agency and consultant relationships. • Plan, manage, and evaluate web site design, social media, promotional / educational print material, direct mail, and press release development. • Ensure achievable strategic and tactical marketing plans are developed and executed effectively based on knowledge of market characteristics, and cost and markup factors. • Analyze market information to determine segmentation and identify ideal target groups. • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products. Manages launch campaigns for new products. • Research, analyze, and monitor emerging industry, technology, financial and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity. • Identify trends and developments in industry, and keeps company leaders advised of trends that may have an impact on both current and long term business performance. Makes recommendations on strategies to maintain / increase market share. • Hire, coach, mentor, and develop marketing staff. Manage strategic relationships with key marketing business partners and service providers. Sets expectations, monitors results, and manages accountability. • Serve as a positive change agent and a role model for RIGID’S customer service, innovation and quality focus. Implements marketing continuous improvement programs. • Analyzes results of marketing activities to measure ROI and determine whether objectives were achieved. • Continuously monitors expenditures and promotes creative, efficient and impactful cost-effective practices. • Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends. • Initiate market research studies or analyze their findings. Qualifications and Education Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus. • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing strategic marketing plans grounded in solid analytics. • Experience managing a Marketing Department. • Experience in the off-road or automotive aftermarket industries Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
