Assistant Professor of Business Administration-Marketing

The Business Department of Briar Cliff University, an institution committed to higher education within a liberal arts and Catholic perspective, invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Business Administration-Marketing position beginning August 2021. Primary teaching responsibilities will include digital marketing, as well as principles of marketing, consumer behavior, sales and marketing research. Other subjects in the candidate’s field of specialization, subject to university needs, will be considered. All teaching is at the undergraduate level. Strong preference will be given to candidates who can provide evidence of outstanding teaching. Minimum qualifications include an MBA degree or master’s level degree in Marketing or related area with five years of teaching experience. Relevant marketing experience a plus. The ideal candidate will have experience with advising undergraduate students and program accreditation and assessment. High value is placed on a team player who brings a variety of teaching interests and demonstrates knowledge of innovative learning technologies and program delivery, along with online teaching experience in a highly collaborative discussion-based asynchronous classroom. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and experience with promoting inclusive excellence are required.
