Job Description This is a key role in Moody's ESG Solutions (Environmental, Social, Governance and Climate Risk solutions as well as Sustainable Finance capabilities) Group, whose primary goal is to meet the growing demand for environmental, social, and governance insights via best-in-class products and solutions. The person will driv e marketing, engagement and CMBI (customer, market and business intelligence) activities for Moody's ESG suite of products and services. While maximizing our brand awareness and establishing Moody's as a leader in the ESG space, the person will work with many teams (product strategy, marketing, sales, research, corporate branding & communications) across Moody's to develop and execute on go-to-market campaigns with the ultimate view to meeting our sales targets. Specifically, the Director in this role needs to accomplish the following:
Maintain annual business plans and track and report on performance throughout the year
Oversee marketing and go-to-market activities for the division; design and manage various types campaigns (new product launch, engagement, sales).
Oversee the customer, market and business intelligence program to make sure the customer needs are at the core of all investment decisions
Help develop a digital marketing / advertisement and social media strategy; oversee production of digital marketing content for application across multiple digital channels
Prepare collateral for sales enablement; develop materials to help sales communicate the value proposition of Moody's ESG solutions and support the selling process
Work with the sales teams to optimise current engagement channels and new channels to ensure that customers are engaged and aware of the value proposition; help d rive new business
Develop integrated product marketing campaigns for various content pieces which help position Moody's as a thought leader: white papers, reports, infographics, email campaigns. Continuously analyse and measure the performance to maximize effectiveness.
Work closely with the events and outreach teams; suggest opportunities for optimizing events and industry associations as channels . Present at external meetings, webinars, company-sponsored events and third-party conferences; work with industry organizations to maximize Moody's voice in the ESG space
Oversee development of training materials and train the sales / customer service and other groups within Moody/s groups on ESG solutions
Oversee development and the provision of marketing collateral and other assets to support customer and market engagement and drive growth. #LI-DW1
Undergraduate degree (Bachelors) required, post graduate qualification in Business / Marketing preferred.
Solid experience in successful B2B multi-channel marketing, and in designing and running integrated go-to-market programs with proven results
Experience or strong interest in ESG and Climate Risk issues favourably considered
In depth knowledge of market / customer / business intelligence tools and techniques and ability to synthesize findings to impact business decisions
Proven ability to collaborate with & influence others and be a strong individual contributor
Ability to lead and manage cross-functional working groups
Experience in hiring, coaching and managing staff
Very strong presentation and public speaking skills
