The University of North Dakota Athletics Department is seeking applicants for an Assistant Director of Marketing. This position will take the lead on marketing volleyball and men's or women's basketball programs. During volleyball and men's or women's basketball games, this position will lead the REA Gameday Presentation Coordinator, who serves as the game presentation producer at the score table. The Assistant Director of Marketing will focus on creating social media content, interacting with fans and other tasks during volleyball and men's or women's basketball games. This position supports UND Athletics marketing initiatives through coordination and implementation of marketing and sales strategies, reporting to the Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Marketing contact for volleyball and men's or women’s basketball; Assist with marketing efforts for hockey and football; Liaison to and work directly with the REA Gameday Presentation Coordinator; Manage all aspects of NoDak Nation, the student support group for North Dakota Athletics; Oversee community events; Manage all aspects of student ticketing including rewards program; Manage student-athlete community service and donation program; Manage football tailgating; Other duties as assigned.
Must have an effective professional working relationship with student-athletes, staff, administration, alumni and general public.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Marketing, Communications or related field
2 years of NCAA Division I or Division II college athletics marketing or professional sports marketing experience which can include any combination of full-time employment, graduate assistantships and professional intern positions
Valid driver's license
Successful completion of criminal history background check.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
Experience with NCAA Division I or Division II men's or women's basketball
Experience with NCAA Division I or Division II volleyball
Experience with NCAA Division I or Division II kids club/organization
Supervisory experience with student interns and/or full-time staff
