All AMADC volunteers are committed to furthering the community of marketing professionals in the DMV as well as their own careers. By donating your time and skills to AMADC, you will be a vital part of supporting others in the profession to get the tools and connections we all need, while also advancing your own professional development.
We seek a Director of Member Retention - a talented and committed individual who will help engage and retain AMADC members. You will play a critical role in one of the largest AMA chapters, part of a team working together to grow the organization and advance the marketing community.
This position will report to the VP of Membership.
Encourage new members to attend an AMADC event within the first 60 days of membership including new members at AMADC events including new member happy hours (new for 2019)
Collaborate with other AMADC committees like District Current (young professionals) and programming teams
Collaborate with the communications committee on member communications and engagement
Encourage new members to attend an AMADC event within the first 60 days of membership
Conduct voice of customer research to share back to the membership committee and AMADC board on reasons for member engagement, what members want to see from a content perspective, etc.
Other tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
Flexible, creative team player willing to step into whatever is required to get the job done
Commitment to AMADC and professional development desired
Estimated Hours per Week: 1-2
This is a remote, unpaid and voluntary position that requires about 1-2 hours per week. AMADC volunteers get benefits such as:
