The Associate Director, CE Marketing will develop, plan and execute integrated communications and marketing plans. This approach will promote program recruitment and proactively support strategic enrollment needs, driving the direction of RISD CE's visual presence, while ensuring alignment with the overall RISD brand.
With the goal of increasing the diversity of enrollment and overall retention within all CE programs, Associate Director of Marketing will create, evaluate and maintain a marketing strategy aligned with enrollment goals. Work with the Executive Director to execute the strategic vision of RISD CE utilizing digital, content, social media and search engine marketing, while adhering to brand and style guidelines. As a member of the leadership team, the Associate Director will utilize strong interpersonal skills with internal and external constituents in order to effectively develop and execute enrollment-marketing plans.
In addition, the Associate Director, CE Marketing will translate creative direction into strategic plans and actions that drive enrollment for RISD Continuing Education. This position will allocate and manage the annual CE marketing budget while ensuring outreach goals are met; establish and supervise market research efforts, and analyze the effectiveness of all marketing efforts; and supervise full-time and part-time staff along with freelance marketing, design and production vendors.
Job Qualifications Required:
A Bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three to five years of progressive experience in digital functions including (but not limited to) digital strategy, content marketing, digital advertising, website strategy and development, user experience and architecture, SEO strategy development.
Strong understanding of current marketing concepts, strategy and best practices. Proven ability to manage strategic execution and optimization of digital marketing campaigns to various audiences across multiple channels.
Experience in e-commerce, SEO, PPC, email marketing and social media.
Ability to independently make art and design recommendations that positively impact enrollment with a demonstrated understanding of enrollment best practices, tools and strategies.
Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills, leadership and organizational skills.
The ability to create and execute marketing plans for multiple audiences.
Proven ability to interact with members of the community representing diverse backgrounds and interests.
Proven ability to work well independently and as part of a team, and with many constituencies with a strong customer service focus.
Must be able to develop and manage marketing plans and budgets.
Knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and file management systems.
